Greetings all!
This month of December we spread hope. In a year like 2020 everyone deserves to be congratulated for persevering thus far.
Hope is an optimistic state of mind that is based on expectations of positive outcomes. Having hope does not mean being oblivious of all the problems that may arise but means knowing despite those problems there is still a chance of a positive outcome. If you are a cancer patient you will have setbacks but remember it's not how you start but how you finish. Finish with hope. If you have a friend or family member battling with cancer, there will be days you don't know how to support them or days you're not sure if they'll make it but believe them and have hope that the ending will be positive regardless of the difficult journey. Jean De La Bruyère once said “Out of difficulties grow miracles” so hold onto your hope and await the miracle.
As we embark on the new year remember the wise words of Sylvester Sallon “Going on one more round, when you don't think you can, that’s what makes the difference.” Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year :)
