The ‘3to0 Cancer Awareness Foundation’ is an organization that was started by teenagers to spread awareness about this malady with the youth.
As of 2018, Kenya reported 47,887 new cancer cases and 32,987 cancer deaths. This is a disease that has heavily impacted our country. A lot of the time, people discover they have cancer when they are too far gone. Yet, if they had been aware they would have recognised the symptoms and get an early diagnosis.
When discussions about such important things occur, the youth are often disregarded as not needing the information for being too young. That is why we are using our voices to spread awareness amongst the youth.
We will be posting new blog posts at least every 2 weeks. The posts will be based on the current Cancer awareness month. You will also find links to all our social media pages where we post similar content.
We encourage everyone to engage in conversations, ask questions and give feedback on the forum section.
